Residential Lockdown Tips.

To help you understand how to continue to secure and manage a resident’s access to their home through PAC Residential, we’ve created a step-by-step guide to manage your systems remotely.

If your system is hosted by PAC & GDX, go straight to step 7

1. Make the Residential server available for remote connection – popular platforms such as TeamViewer , LogMeIn & VNC Connect all have free packages available.
2. Secure a copy of the database off the main server as a backup.
3. Make a note of the ‘Fingerprint’ code in your licence screen as this would allow customer services to issue a replacement licence, should the need arise.
4. Be sure to take your Desktop Admin Kit with you along with a supply of tokens to give to residents, if required.
5. Do a dummy run through of remote connection, reading and adding keycodes before final lockdown, if possible.
6. Add or edit time profiles where necessary to ensure suitable access/security of the office.
7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZkdt6U6Rq8 this video shows how to add codes for hosted sites using the browser.
