A connected approach to hotel operations at AC Hotel Lima Miraflores.
Located on Lima’s Malecón de la Reserva in the Miraflores district, AC Hotel Lima Miraflores occupies a prominent position overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The 17-storey hotel has 139 rooms alongside a range of shared spaces, creating a building where different areas need to be managed as part of the wider operation.
As part of the hotel’s building services, lighting and air conditioning across the common areas needed to be brought together within a consistent control infrastructure. Comelit-PAC provided the building automation solution for the project, using its Ingenium by Comelit BES range to provide control across these shared spaces.
The solution is based on KNX technology, with BES devices installed to manage lighting and air conditioning. Bringing both functions together within the same building automation infrastructure provides a consistent approach to controlling the services across the hotel’s common areas.
For AC Hotel Lima Miraflores, this provides the underlying infrastructure needed to manage lighting and air conditioning across the different shared spaces within the building. The system can be configured to suit the requirements of individual areas, while maintaining a consistent approach across the hotel.
The installation also keeps the building services largely behind the scenes. For the team responsible for the hotel, lighting and air conditioning can be managed through the building automation system, while the technology itself remains unobtrusive within the guest environment.
The project at AC Hotel Lima Miraflores demonstrates how Comelit-PAC’s building automation solutions can be integrated into a large hospitality environment, bringing key building services together within a single control infrastructure and providing a consistent approach to managing the hotel’s common areas.
