Bringing Cloud Connectivity to the LogiFire Range
LogiFire 2 introduces new ways to monitor, manage and expand addressable fire detection systems.
Designed for small to medium-sized installations, the panel builds on the existing LogiFire platform while maintaining compatibility with the wider range of devices, interfaces and accessories.
Designed for Everyday Applications
LogiFire 2 has been developed for projects requiring the benefits of an addressable fire detection system in a compact format. Supplied as standard with one loop and expandable to two, the panel supports up to 250 devices per loop and up to 16 zonal LEDs, making it suitable for a broad range of applications.
From retail units and offices to a wide range of smaller commercial environments, the panel has been designed to deliver reliable fire detection with the essential functionality installers need. This is while keeping installation, programming and day-to-day operation simple.
For applications requiring greater system coverage, LogiFire 2 supports networking of up to 64 panels, providing the flexibility to expand the system as requirements grow
It also benefits from features previously available only on LogiFire 8, bringing enhanced capability to installations where a smaller addressable solution is required.
Approved to EN54-2, EN54-13 and EN54-4 standards, LogiFire 2 delivers all the performance and compliance expected from latest fire detection systems while retaining the familiarity of the wider LogiFire range.
Improving System Visibility
LogiFire 2 provides remote cloud access via the MyComelit app, giving users visibility of their fire detection systems wherever they are. Built-in TCP/IP connectivity provides access to system status and information without the need to be physically at the panel.
The panel also features a new graphical display and ergonomic user interface, supporting day-to-day operation and helping users navigate system information more efficiently.
As Mandy Bowden, Fire Systems Business Manager UK & ROI, explains:
“In many projects we are still seeing fire systems managed across multiple panels and sites without a simple way of viewing or checking status remotely, which can add unnecessary time during maintenance or fault investigation.
“With LogiFire 2, we’ve focused on giving installers and end users a clearer view of the system through cloud connectivity, while also keeping the installation process familiar. It’s about making day-to-day management more straightforward without changing the way people already work with LogiFire.”
Built Around the Existing LogiFire Platform
A key part of LogiFire 2 is it has been designed to work seamlessly with existing LogiFire addressable devices. For installers already familiar with the platform, this helps maintain consistency across projects while supporting future system expansion.
Wireless integration provides additional flexibility for projects where cable-free installation may be required, while programming can be carried out either directly through the panel interface or via LogiFire software. This allows installers to choose the approach that best suits the project and supports efficient commissioning and ongoing maintenance.
