Rugby Academy:
union makes
strength!
Comelit is a proud partner of the Castro Rugby Academy, a project conceived and promoted by Martin Castrogiovanni, a renowned right prop on the international rugby scene.
The Castro Rugby Academy is a unique summer camp for boys and girls who want to immerse themselves in the world of rugby and develop their sporting and personal skills. The Academy offers a high-level training opportunity: Martin Castrogiovanni is personally involved in guiding and teaching the young participants, supported by an excellent technical staff.
Comelit has chosen to be alongside this reality because it shares the important values that the Castro Rugby Academy enthusiastically promotes.
Teamwork: the key to success.
At the Castro Rugby Academy, young athletes learn the importance of teamwork based on trust, mutual respect and cooperation. In sport as well as in work, teamwork enables extraordinary achievements.
Comelit fully shares these values: every day we apply them by working as a team with thousands of customers all over the world. Unity is strength and it is what makes it possible to overcome daily challenges and grow together.
Security: a safer world.
The thinking behind our daily actions is to create a safer world through sustainable and technologically advanced products that make people, buildings, places and goods safe. Similarly, Martin Castrogiovanni educates and empowers young athletes from an early age about the culture of respect and safety, so that they themselves can contribute to making the world a safer place.
Safety is a key priority, both in the sporting context and in everyday life, which unites us in the pursuit of our goals.
Inclusion: welcoming everyone without limits.
The Castro Rugby Academy is a model of inclusion because it involves disabled people (disability is not inability) and women in its world. In fact, the camp is also open to boys who want to try their hand at wheelchair rugby. In addition, the Academy will inaugurate the first summer camp in Italy dedicated exclusively to the women’s movement, category Under 15/17/19.
Comelit shares this approach because we believe that only through inclusion can we break down the barriers that separate people and create a world where everyone can feel welcomed, respected and valued for who they are.
Sustainability: taking care of our planet.
Sustainability is a distinctive and characterising element of Comelit’s identity. We carefully select suppliers who share our values, promote environmentally friendly practices in our production process and encourage environmental awareness among our employees.
In line with this commitment, the Castro Rugby Academy also educates young athletes on the importance of acting responsibly and respectfully towards the environment. Furthermore, the Academy is a sustainable event that fulfils the ESG criteria according to the international standard 20121.
