Comelit has always recognised the importance of standards as fundamental, internationally shared technical rules that save time and resources, eliminate redundant processes, increase efficiency, and ensure reliable and safe products in line with the latest advancements. Adhering to these reference standards also guarantees the conformity of products, processes, and services, while enabling continuous improvement over time.

For this reason, Comelit actively participates in technical committees that develop industry standards and is a member of key trade associations. This involvement helps Comelit stay current with major European product directives and regulations, as well as standards from outside the EU, ensuring that the products it designs and markets remain compliant and up-to-date.

Our Certifications.

Comelit has been managing and maintaining its Quality Management System in compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard for 30 years and its Environmental Management System in compliance with the ISO 14001:2015 standard for nearly 20 years. Additionally, we are SBD (Secure by Design) certified. Compliance and Certification Procedures.

Comelit is directly involved in all conformity assessment procedures for products placed on the market to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

We conduct internal pre-compliance testing and collaborate with accredited testing laboratories to oversee the conformity assessment process and product certification. Additionally, we perform periodic supplier evaluation audits and ensure that the technical product dossier is updated to reflect any changes made to the product throughout its life cycle.
