Entrance Panels
Designed for the realities of modern residential buildings, GDX Next entrance panels combine durability, clarity and flexibility in one robust solution. Built to withstand demanding environments, they support reliable door entry while offering features that improve usability for both residents and visitors.
Handsets
GDX Next offers a choice of resident handsets to suit different project requirements, including an Audio Handset, a Video Handset and a Handsfree Monitor. Across the range, users benefit from clear full duplex audio, simple controls for door release and privacy mode, visual call indication and accessibility features including a built-in T-Coil compatible loop as standard. The Video Handset and Handsfree Monitor also provide high-definition colour video for clear visitor identification, with adjustable settings and simple NFC configuration via the MyComelit App, giving residents a practical and easy-to-use solution for everyday communication and access.
Central Control Units
The GDX Next Central Control Unit range provides the core of the system, managing entrance panels, rear doors and a mix of audio and video handsets from one robust, pre-wired enclosure. Available in 8-way and 12-way options, each unit supports simplified cabling, includes a 7A PSU, provides up to 2A for lock power and offers battery support for added resilience. Access Control models also provide integrated management for up to 2,000 credentials limit, with standalone and cloud-based options increasing this capacity.
Extension Units
The GDX Next EEU range provides a simple way to expand the system in increments of two entrance panels and two rear readers for GDX Next access control, or two entrance panels for third-party access solutions. Supplied in a robust pre-wired enclosure with everything required included, it helps save valuable installation time on site. Each unit includes a 7 Amp PSU to power the control equipment for the access solution†, while also providing up to 2 Amps of available power for door locks. A dedicated output for trickle charging a 7Ah support battery, not supplied, helps maintain system operation in the event of a mains failure.

Access Control
The PAC GS4 multi-tech readers are designed to work with the GDX Next door entry solution and GDX 4 Door Controller to deliver secure, flexible access control across a range of entrance types. They support high security PAC OPS 13.56 MHz credentials, legacy 125 kHz credentials including GDX Indigo, and selected third party credentials, making them suitable for both new and existing environments. Available in vandal resistant and panel mount formats, they combine reliable performance with practical features such as secure communication to the controller and design elements that support Equality Act compliant installations.
Credentials
GDX Next supports both high security, non-clonable credentials and legacy low-frequency credentials, giving installers greater flexibility when upgrading or expanding a system.
Gateway & Modem
The Gateway & Modem range provides a simple way to connect GDX Next systems to Housing Central for secure remote management. Supporting credential updates, event visibility and day-to-day system administration, it helps reduce the need for site visits while improving control across residential developments. With flexible Ethernet and 4G connectivity options, the range is well suited to both individual sites and wider estate management.
Entrance Auxiliaries
The GDX Next Auxiliaries range includes exit devices, fire switches and fire switch options to support safe and reliable system operation. Designed to complement the wider GDX Next system, these accessories help complete each installation with practical solutions for door release and emergency override.
