Cookies

The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow the safe and efficient exploration of the site and its applications.
The so-called session cookies used on the Comelit site avoid the use of other computer techniques potentially detrimental to the confidentiality of users’ navigation and do not allow the acquisition of personal identifying data of the user.
The Comelit site uses some systems that analyze the navigation of users to create statistics on visits or to improve the content offer, to show similar products and to place, if necessary, targeted advertising on web pages. The system used is Google Analytics, the latter is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics, like other systems, uses “cookies”, which are text files that are placed on the user’s computer to allow the website to analyze how users use the site. Information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to, and stored at Google’s servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of tracking and examining the use of the website, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services related to the use of the Internet. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where this is required to do so by law or where such third parties process such information on behalf of Google. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. The user can in any case refuse to use cookies by selecting the appropriate setting on his browser, but this may prevent him from using all the features of the website. By using the Comelit website, you consent to the processing of data by Google for the methods and purposes indicated above.
In any case, it is possible to set the browser software for the internet in such a way as not to accept cookies, activating the so-called anonymous browsing, and in this case no data will be processed through these systems.

Permanent cookies

Permanent cookies remain on the device even after leaving the website, until the user deletes them or until their expiration date is reached. The Comelit site creates this type of cookie and stores them on your device so that you can read them when you visit the site again. This allows, for example, to find, even in subsequent visits to the site, the preferences set (eg wish list)

Reject and block cookies

Most internet browsers are initially set to accept cookies automatically. This means that the user has the possibility, at any time, to set his browser to accept all cookies, only a few, or to reject them, disabling their use by the sites. In addition, the user can normally set his browser preferences so that he is notified each time a cookie is stored on his computer. Finally, at the end of each browsing session, the user can delete the collected cookies from the hard drive of his device.
If you want to delete the cookies installed in the cookies folder of the browser you are using, please note that each browser has different procedures for managing the settings. By selecting the links below you can get specific instructions for some of the major browsers:
