70 YEARS
Every number tells a story.
Discover the people, ideas and achievements behind 70 years of Comelit.
In 2026, Comelit celebrates its 70th anniversary. That’s seven decades of people working together, ideas taking shape and relationships growing. To mark the occasion, we’re sharing our story through the numbers that have helped define it.
Founded in 1956 by Giovanni Barzasi, Mino Brasi, Pier Antonio Brasi and Gianni Lazzari, Comelit has grown from a business with strong local roots into an international Group. Each generation has brought new ideas and expertise, building on the work of those who came before.
Today, Comelit has 1,070 employees and a commercial presence in more than 96 countries, with people working together every day towards one shared goal: making the world a safer place.
70 years in numbers
Our anniversary campaign brings together 70 numbers, each revealing a different part of Comelit’s story. They reflect the people behind our products, the professionals who choose our solutions, our investment in research and training, and the milestones that have shaped our growth.
Some take us back to where it all began. Others show how far we’ve come. And others offer a glimpse of what we’re building for the future.
Behind every number are people, ideas and achievements that have made Comelit what it is today. After 70 years, there’s still so much more to come.
